Treatment planning in modern dental practice
Learn how to effectively execute treatment plans and help patients understand them.
A good treatment plan comes about as the natural consequence of taking carefully considered steps, which should take into consideration the patient’s concerns as well as our concerns as clinicians. Patients are usually not trained to identify all their oral problems; therefore, careful planning will help identify those problems and point out any treatment modifiers.
You will learn:
- The science of treatment planning, including definitions, steps and sequencing
- How to gather important information for executing treatment plans
- Treatment plan modifiers
- Clinical application (using case examples)
- How to help patients understand your treatment plan.
