Practice accreditation workshop APRIL

Is your practice registered to undergo practice accreditation or re-accreditation? In this small group workshop, we will prepare you to undertake accreditation to the new National Safety and Quality Primary and Community Health (NSQPCH) Standards.

We will demonstrate where to locate all the necessary templates, audits and other resources on the ADA and ADAVB websites and outline how to customise these templates to become your unique practice documents, which comply with the NSQPCH Standards.

Learning outcomes

      •    Develop a process for completing the accreditation
      •    Locate templates and resources
      •    Correct use of the ADA and ADAVB templates
      •    Work towards completion of one of the standards
      •    Navigate the QIP Accreditation Pro database
      •    Understand the requirements of the new NSQPCH Standards

Required for the workshop

Workshops are conducted via Zoom. Please ensure you have access to a computer with a camera and sound as this is an interactive workshop.

Sharon McMillan 

Sharon McMillan has broad knowledge in practice management through tertiary studies in business management and health law to over 20 years of experience in a specialist dental practice.  She is an engaging presenter and creates a relaxed and safe environment for participants. She has been involved with practice accreditation since its inception. Sharon can assist in developing the practice policies and protocols and provides clear explanations of the reasoning behind the documents and their relevance to dentistry.
