Infection prevention and control (IPC) MARCH

Our Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Program continues to evolve and integrates nationally recognised requirements for standard and transmission-based precautions. This ensures all IPC activities remain aligned with current good practice.

Designed for real-world application, the program features hands-on demonstrations and guidance that will empower staff to confidently apply IPC protocols in their daily workflow.

Our program content and documentation provided may be used to support your practice accreditation training requirements.

You will learn about:

  • changes to regulatory requirements, guidance documents and revised standards
  • standard and transmission-based precautions:
    • PPE, hand hygiene, sharps, waste and environmental management
    • aseptic technique – general
    • waterline management and testing
