Inner Melbourne Group Meeting - "Keys to treatment planning for the worn dentition"

Network with colleagues while taking in some CPD over dinner and drinks.

Cases of worn dentition are usually complex on presentation.
Deciding on what treatment options are suitable for the patient can be challenging.
With each case, however, some key features can be identified and a series of logical steps can be followed to greatly simplify the treatment planning process.
This lecture will go through how to do this, and revisit fundamental concepts which are critical at the diagnosis and assessment stage, through a series of case presentations.

At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:
- Identify essential aesthetic parameters
- Recognise the difference between loss of tooth structure and loss of VDO
- Recognise when to gain restorative space, how much to gain and methods to implement
- Apply ways to test a prototype before definitive treatment
