Dr Thivagar Nirmalann (Dr Tiv)
Dr Tiv graduated from The University of Melbourne Dental School and has been practicing dentistry in Victoria for 18 years. He is a director of a successful six-chair dental clinic on the Mornington Peninsula. He has a passion for teaching and coaching in the field of dentistry, particularly in dental-patient communication, treatment planning, practice ownership, clinical and personal growth, and dental photography. Dr Tiv has been a speaker at many conferences nation-wide, runs a YouTube channel (DrTiv) and is a respected voice across dental forums. He was a demonstrator at The University of Melbourne Dental School for five years, and after opening his own practice, he mentored and trained many recent graduates, several of who went on to specialise. He has also provided mentorship and coaching to other owners of dental clinics (drtiv.com) and recent graduates (Dr Tiv's Academy on Facebook). Dr Tiv loves to be involved in the dental community, acting as a dental correspondent for the ADA and being the chair of the Peninsula ADAVB Group for three years.
