Dr Raj Dhaliwal

Dr Raj Dhaliwal is an experienced risk management and clinical professional in dentistry and law. Raj holds positions as an examiner at the Australian Dental Council (ADC) and the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS) as well as committee positions at both organisations and the Section Chair for the Pierre Fauchard Academy (Victoria branch). Raj manages the team of Dental Consultants at ADAVB.
Amanda Brown
ADAVB Practice Plus Consultant specialising in infection prevention and control
Grad Cert in Sterilisation and infection prevention and control, Certificate III in Sterilising Services
Amanda Brown has extensive experience in public and private practice, and is a highly regarded consultant in infection prevention and control.
Sharon McMillan
ADAVB Practice Plus Consultant specialising in practice management and health and medical law.
BA(Commerce) Grad Dip Ed, MEd, MHlth&MedLaw
Sharon McMillan has broad knowledge in practice management through tertiary studies in business management and health law to over 20 years of experience in a specialist dental practice. She is an engaging presenter and creates a relaxed and safe environment for participants. She has been involved with practice accreditation since its inception. Sharon can assist in developing the practice policies and protocols and provides clear explanations of the reasoning behind the documents and their relevance to dentistry.
Dr Loula Konidaris
Dr Konidaris completed her Bachelor of Dental Science in 1989 at the University of Melbourne and later completed a Master of of Health and Medical Law in 2019, also at Melbourne University. She currently works two days a week in general clinical practice and two days a week for the ADAVB as a CRO/Professional consultant. Her role at the ADAVB offers her the opportunity to assist members with advice from general enquiries to regulatory matters needing prompt attention. Members with professional indemnity cover with Guild insurance are obliged to contact the ADAVB CROs when problems arise with dental treatment. Dr Konidaris also handles calls from the public regarding explanations of treatment, dissatisfaction with dental treatment or any concerns with the profession.

Ahpra Manager Clinical Input
Dental and Multi-profession Teams
Ben Keith is the manager in the Clinical Input Service at Ahpra for the dental and Multiprofession teams of advisors. Ben has worked with Ahpra since 2013 and previously was a professional member at the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal. From 2007 to 2013 Ben was the Clinical Director of Dentistry and Oral Health at La Trobe University, establishing Australia’s first rural dental and oral health school. Ben was Chair of the Continuing Professional Development Committee for eight years at the Australian Dental Association (Victorian Branch). Ben held a number of roles with ADA Committees in the Federal and Victorian branches as well as being a Council member of the Victorian Branch. Ben has worked with the ADC as an examiner and in assessing programs of study, and currently is also an examiner with The University of Melbourne DDS program.
