Minimising risks with patient complaints in Endodontics
We all know dentistry can get intense, and complex situations are inevitable, especially for endodontic enthusiasts. Unsurprisingly, the statistics have shown that problems in Endodontics are more likely to lead to complaints and claims in Australia than other areas of dentistry (Roddis 2008, Fisher 2011, Johnstone & Evans 2023). The webinar aims to equip you with the skills to:
Learn how to:
- Recognise common situations or red flags that can lead to patient complaints.
- Analyse real world scenarios involving patient complaints to understand the underlying causes.
- Develop strategies to proactively minimise the risk of patient complaints.
- Enhance your communication skills to address patient concerns, provide clear explanations and to obtain informed consent.
