Soft tissue grafting around teeth and implants: Current concepts and future directions
At this North-Eastern Group Meeting, learn about the current concepts and future directions related to soft tissue grafting at teeth and implants.
Patient-centred outcomes continue to be one of the most important aspects of dentistry, and aesthetic concerns due to soft tissue disharmony should be appropriately addressed. Fundamental anatomical differences between teeth and implants affect the outcome of soft tissue dehiscence coverage and this is reflected in the differences between prevalence, aetiology, classification and respective treatment approaches. Advances in techniques and materials have improved the predictability of soft tissue dehiscence coverage at both teeth and implants, however significant challenges remain. This talk will present an overview of the current concepts and future directions related to soft tissue grafting at teeth and implants.
