Melbourne North Group (D) meeting
The ADAVB Melbourne North Group (D) is pleased to announce its meeting in April 2023. The event will include dinner, drinks and CPD presentation.
'New digital technology in dentistry: Managing the learning curve and maximising the benefits.' In recent years, digital technology has made significant advances in the field of dentistry. This technology offers a range of benefits for both dental professionals and patients, including improved accuracy, efficiency and patient comfort.
In this lecture, we will explore some of the latest digital technology used in dentistry. A work flow of digital radiography including CBCT, intraoral scanning, 3D visualisation and planning software, and 3D printing have revolutionised the predictability of diagnosis, planning and treatment of complex cases.
Digital communication across the web has made working with your technician quicker and easier with CBCT, scans and video conferencing technologies. This digital transformation is becoming mainstream in dentistry and so its use is now an essential skill required of dentists.
