Dr Amanda Leske (Specialist Paediatric Dentist)

Dr Leske is a Specialist Paediatric Dentist and Senior Lecturer at La Trobe University. After graduating high school in Sydney and then both undergraduate and postgraduate dental degrees at the University of Melbourne, Amanda fell in love with Bendigo and never managed to leave. With a history of working across multiple dental organisations throughout metropolitan and regional Victoria over the past 18 years, Amanda enjoys drawing upon her wide range of experience and knowledge with treating children to support and upskill local practitioners to deliver exceptional dental care to our youngest patients. Amanda will truly feel like her job is done when no-one in the local community refers to her anymore, because she has taught them all how to manage kids so well by themselves. In the meantime, she tries to give back to her local community in any way that she can, including regular offers of local CPD opportunities to both medical and dental professionals, and involvement in local sporting clubs to prevent dental injuries. Dr Amanda is also an active committee member of the Australasian Society of Paediatric Dentistry, an ADA member and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.
