Top 10 tips in periodontics: diagnosis, treatment planning
This webinar covers using the new classification and diagnosis of perio, assigning prognosis and managing a patient's supportive periodontal therapy (SPT).
As the great Melbourne periodontist Dr Victor Kiven often says, “the tissue is the issue, but the bone sets the tone”. Therefore, without healthy, stable and sufficient periodontal support, ongoing dental treatment is compromised.
This webinar will break down the 2017 classification into components that you can use to design effective periodontal therapy for your patients.
Learn how to:
- use the new classification system to personalise periodontal treatment
- actively use risk analysis in designing periodontal therapy
- understand the critical role of SPT in successful patient management
- utilise practical tips and tricks in your everyday practice.
