Eligibility criteria expanded for $10,000 Business Support Fund for small businesses
The Victorian Business Support Fund for small businesses impacted by COVID-19 has been expanded to include any business with a wages bill less than the payroll tax threshold of $650,000 that is participating in the Commonwealth Government’s JobKeeper program, regardless of the sector in which they operate.
We understand this means that dental practices that meet these criteria are now eligible to apply.
This announcement by the Victorian Government follows sustained advocacy by the ADAVB and members to the Minister for Small Business, the Minister for Health and Business Victoria.
If you previously applied and your application was ruled ineligible due to your business industry code, you do not need to apply again. Business Victoria will contact you.
If you have not already applied for the grant, you are encouraged to review the eligibility criteria and make an application when applications for the expanded eligibility group open in the coming days.
Applications close on 1 June 2020.
