Many of our members have questions about payroll tax. Come and hear directly from the State Revenue Office and have your questions answered.
This session will:
- Provide details about what payroll tax is and how it works including the details about registration thresholds etc.
- Summarise the issues surrounding payroll tax and medical and allied health practitioners.
- Describe the difference between an employee and a contractor.
- Explain the operation of the relevant contract provisions.
- Provide time to answer questions.

Andrew Hosken 
Andrew is Manager of the Customer Experience & Education unit at SRO and has more than 35 years of experience in the administration and application of state and employment taxes while working for both SRO and for 4 years consulting in employment taxes in Sydney. Andrew has worked in a range of compliance and technical roles within SRO including investigations, technical advice, and objections. For more than 12 years played a key role in the training and education of SRO staff and customers.
