Hear from past recipients

Dr Safinah Hambali, Northvale Dental, 2024 recipient: “Winning the bursary means more opportunities to further our knowledge as a team, and this will strengthen our communication and bond. It is a great achievement for our young practice that values our great team dynamics and always strives to deliver a great patient experience together.”

Dr Thivagar Nirmalann, Balnarring Dental Care, 2021 recipient: “The bursary has improved our practice by helping to upskill the clinicians to provide better care for our patients both clinically and in communication. We can serve our patients better with a wider and broader knowledge base. I would encourage other clinics to apply for this bursary to help upskill their team and take their practice to the next level!”

Dr Anand Makwana, Warragul Dental Care, 2019 recipient: ''Winning the bursary has been a huge benefit to our practice. We strongly believe that our team is our biggest asset and being able to invest in the team allows our business to go from strength to strength.  My tips for a successful application include making sure you actually put some time aside to sit down and complete it. Look for gaps in your business where you think training will help elevate your team and offer new or improved services to your patients. Don't be scared to ask your team what training they would love to do, they often have the best ideas. Good luck, you have nothing to lose and plenty to gain!'
