Checklist for getting started
There are a number of important things to get sorted before you start working. One thing you don’t need to worry about is your indemnity insurance! If you are an ADAVB student member you are automatically covered by the ADAVB’s Indemnity Insurance Master Policy, underwritten by Guild Insurance, when you graduate. Use this helpful checklist to get set for your career in dentistry.

Complete your registration correctly to avoid delays!  
Find out what you need to do for graduate registration, including tips to help you avoid unnecessary delays. Watch Ahpra’s new video to help you get your application right the first time. It’s particularly important that you get your photographic proof of identity documents certified correctly.

Avoid sham contracts
Can you spot the difference between an independent contractor and an employee? Independent contractors have different rights and obligations to employees. It’s important to understand the difference between them to avoid sham contracting. Access helpful resources and a video by the Fair Work Ombudsman.
