The Benevolent Fund was established to render advice, and at times financial assistance, in cases of hardship to any member, former member, or family or dependants of a deceased member of the ADAVB.
The Fund is an essential aspect of the ADAVB’s care of its members. It also funds the member assistance program.
The Fund is built up by voluntary donations and administered by a Board of Management consisting of five senior colleagues who deal confidentially with information from anyone who may become aware of deserving circumstances.
The current Benevolent Fund Board of Management consists of:
- A/Prof John Matthews (Chair)
- Dr Ann Goodrich
- Dr Greg Tilley.
The ADAVB President and Honorary Secretary ex-officio also serve on the Board as ex-officio members.
