Give underprivileged Victorians a reason to smile
The Australian Dental Health Foundation (ADHF) is seeking volunteers.
An official ADA-affiliated foundation, the ADHF provides the simplest platform for ADA members to become involved in providing pro bono dental treatment for underprivileged Australians within your local community.
The ADHF offers a variety of options for volunteering, so you can get involved regardless of the level of engagement you are able to provide. For example, some practices will commit to volunteering one day a year, while others prefer to provide more comprehensive treatment to one or more patients over several appointments.
The practices involved have found dental volunteering with the ADHF to be extremely worthwhile and rewarding. Besides the intrinsic philanthropic virtue in volunteering, many of our volunteer dental practices share their involvement on their websites and social media platforms. In fact, many have found that engaging in dental volunteering resonates with patients and the broader local community, and it can create a very positive point of difference from other practices not involved in dental philanthropy.
To find out more and get involved with the ADHF, visit www.adhf.org.au, or contact ADHF Victoria State Coordinator Di Smith at adminvic@adhf.org.au or 0417 466 636.
