Local groups building connections in your community

Since our renewed focus on Local Groups earlier this year, we have seen fantastic engagement across most of the Groups. From CPD sessions and factory tours to networking events, members have been actively connecting, learning, and supporting one another through their local networks.

Local Groups are a great way to stay connected with your peers while keeping up to date with ADAVB news, advocacy efforts and member services. Attending group events not only helps you build professional networks and strengthen community ties but also allows you to earn valuable CPD hours in a relaxed, supportive setting.

We have also received interest from members keen to revive Local Groups in the Peninsula, Yarra Ranges and North-Eastern regions. To bring these groups back to life, we are seeking enthusiastic and motivated members to take on the roles of Chair and Secretary. Full operational support will be provided by the Branch, and your local insight and professional experience will make a meaningful difference to your peers.
