ADAVB and eviDent at the VTA Women’s Group’s Diwali celebrations
The VTA Women’s Group once again hosted a spectacular Diwali celebration, with more than 300 guests coming together for an evening full of colour, connection, and joy.
The 2025 Diwali Night was truly a feast for the senses — beautifully decorated, filled with lively performances, and highlighted by inspiring speeches from Samantha
Ratnam (Leader of the Victorian Greens), Eden Foster (Member for Mulgrave), and Anne-Marie Hermans (Member for the South-eastern Metropolitan Region). Their words set the perfect tone for a night that celebrated culture, community, and empowerment.
Guests enjoyed vibrant cultural dance performances and a gourmet Sri Lankan spread, creating a warm and festive atmosphere that everyone appreciated. The event also raised valuable funds to support women’s mental health awareness and programs in the community — a cause close to the group’s heart.
It was a night enjoyed by all — organisers, sponsors, guests, and performers alike. The event was well supported by dentists of Sri Lankan and Indian backgrounds, several of whom contributed as sponsors. Representatives from both the ADAVB and eviDent Foundation were also in attendance, showing their support for this wonderful community initiative.
