February President's Update
Holiday Season Highlights & Reflections
To mark the end of 141 years of collegiality and shared purpose, the Branch’s End of Year event was well attended by our full range of stakeholders, partners and collaborators on December 11.
Branch staff, led by our interim CEO – A/Prof Neil Hewson, were recognised for their deep expertise and commitment across: Dental Consultants, Practice Plus Consultants, Events & CPD support, Policy and Research, Member Engagement and Communications, and Business and Operations Management.
Our 100+ Very Impactful People on our Council, Committees and Local Groups were celebrated for their dedication, agility and innovation in powering the Branch in the delivery of its vision and mission.
24/7 Free and confidential support to members continued to be available through our Member Assistance Program via Telus Health, particularly in the wake of the antisemitic attack at Bondi Beach and during the bushfire calamity and State of Disaster declared over the holiday season.
Today, as a peak body for dentists and oral health in Victoria, we continue our work to improve the oral health of all Victorians, promote the highest standards of professional oral and dental care, and enhance the professional lives of our members.
