Case Discussion Session
It was great to join Dr Francis Chan and Dr Alana Smith in the Case Discussion Session in July, which provided an excellent forum for sharing clinical tips and tricks in Endodontics, Periodontics and Orthodontics. Thanks to everyone that attended, and to Carley Ball and Dr Dinusha Goonewardhana, on behalf of the CPD committee, for their efforts in hosting and curating this insightful and engaging event.
Next session, 4 October, features Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with Dr Sophia Richardson, Prosthodontics with Dr Kunal Pandya, and Paedodontics with Dr Rana Yawary. Register here.
Future Fit Update: ADA Stage 1: Respond
The ADA's 2025–2028 Strategic Plan, shaped by member insights and global best practice, is being delivered in three stages to keep our peak body future-fit amid rising costs and changing member expectations.
The ADA Board committed $2.8 million to the Stage 1 transformation in FY2026 with a controlled, milestone-aligned investment funded through 2025's surplus and prior-year reserves. Visit ada.org.au/strategic-plan for the full update from President Dr Chris Sanzaro and CEO Dr Kate More.

- Dental Health Week (3–9 Aug): This years’ My Smile campaign targets oral health for 18–25 year olds encouraging regular dental visits and proactive care before small issues become serious. Get involved by using and sharing the ADA Campaign resources in your practice, online and with your community. Special thanks to ADAVB member volunteers that are generously delivering oral health education session throughout the week!
