Closing date extended for ADAVB BOQ Specialist CPD Practice Bursary applications
Applications for the Australian Dental Association Victorian Branch (ADAVB) BOQ Specialist CPD Practice Bursary close on 14 November. Be inspired by 2019 recipient Dr Anand Makwana's top tips for your application.
"Winning the bursary in 2019 has been a huge benefit to our practice. We strongly believe that our team is our biggest asset and being able to invest in the team allows our business to go from strength to strength. The training we invested in ranged from communication training for our front-end coordinators to perio training for our team of oral health therapists. Plus we had some fun with a team building day learning more about each other and how we work well together.
"My tips for making a successful application include making sure you actually put some time aside so that you can sit down and complete it. Look for gaps in your business where you think training will help elevate your team and offer new or improved services to your patients. Don't be scared to ask your team what training they would love to do too, they often have the best ideas.

The ADAVB BOQ Specialist CPD Practice Bursary consists of a grant valued at $10,000 to be used for professional development and training purposes, of which $2000 must be used for CPD courses and/or training programs offered by the ADAVB.
