Making connections and sharing experience
Applications for the 2021 Mentoring Program are now open.
The Mentoring Program is an exclusive member service for ADAVB and ADATas recent graduate members, including ADC graduates, in the first year of their career.
The program – which is administered by the ADAVB, supported by Guild Insurance and facilitated by A/Prof Nicola Kilpatrick – pairs recent graduates (mentees) with experienced dentists (mentors), who can provide guidance and advice to support professional and personal development.
There are many benefits of mentorships for both mentors and mentees, including:
- Enhancing relationship-building skills
- Developing communication and active listening skills
- Being exposed to different perspectives, ideas and approaches.
